Hi! I’m Jennifer Gibby. This is my 8th year at Bolivia Elementary and my 5th year in Second Grade (my favorite grade to teach!). I am so excited to have your child in class. My own students also went here so this is “home” for me!

I have been married for 25 years to Jeff and we have 3 kids. Rachel graduated from WCU and is currently at Duke Divinity School. Benjamin is on the Autism Spectrum and is a Disney fan. He is “the master of  8 character voices.” He also participates in a theatre troupe of adults with disabilities. They create and perform 2-3 times per year.  Rebekah is attending the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and working towards a degree in Occupational Therapy. My father also lives with us which makes for great family time. We have 3 dogs (Little Johh, Surfer and Dixie) and 2 cats (Journey and Amos)

I am a bit of an orchid fan. We have over 100. I also love to grow African violets and fancy amaryllis. I love to read, play games with friends and family, take long walks and worship the Lord. My “happy place” is the Blue Ridge Mountains. I go there as often as I can.
