Our county's health department has a pediatric and immunization clinic. They accept many types of insurance, but your child can still receive care even if not insured. For the uninsured, service fees are based on the patient's ability to pay (sliding scale fee).

The PEDIATRIC CLINIC is open Monday through Thursday from 8-3:30 and Fridays from 8-12. Appointments are required, but patients may be seen on a walk-in basis as the schedule permits. This clinic provides the following services:

• Performs well child exams

• Diagnoses and treats common childhood illnesses under standing orders

• Orders diagnostic tests, as needed

• Provides anticipatory guidance on growth and development issues, vaccines, and on diagnosed illnesses

The IMMUNIZATION CLINIC is open Monday through Friday from 9-4 on a walk-in basis only.
