I was born and raised in New Bern, NC.  After graduating from New Bern High School, I went to UNC Wilmington where I graduated "magna cum laude" with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English.  I have been a Kindergarten teacher, 3rd grade teacher, and 5th grade teacher.  I received my Masters in Library Science degree from East Carolina University!  I am delighted at the opportunity to be your child's media specialist this year.  I hope to connect your child with books that they can't wait to read!
