Welcome to Our Classroom

  • Current Units

Students are learning about linearity and solving real-world problems by using equations. Students recently developed business plans based on linear equations. Each business had to incorporate a one-time fee, plus a fee billed as a rate, like cost per hour.

    Announcements

The next unit will be systems of equations. The holiday trail mix project is always a hit.

    Typical Week

Students typically learn new material by doing Open Up small group activities and then independently practicing skills. We also tie in MobyMax lessons and practice. We usually have a packet of work every Monday with certain pages due each day. Students also maintain an interactive notebook with Cornell notes, graphic organizers, and learning products.
