I have been here at South since 2012 and absolutely love the school/community. Prior, I taught/coached in the western part of the state (around Asheville - yes, where the mountains are) at North Buncombe and Enka High School. Even though I am a die-hard UNC basketball fan, I received my Masters in Education from N.C. State University. 

 

I retired from coaching at the end of our baseball season this year (2022). I am proud of what our players were able to accomplish over the 10 years that I had the privilege of being their coach. In fact, this past season we won the MEC conference, 3A East Regional Championship, and were NCHSAA 3A State runner up. After a total of 27 years of coaching, I decided it was a good time for me to spend more time with family and friends.

 

Classes that I teach at South include:Entrepreneurship 1 Honors and Reg., Entrepreneurship II Honors, and Business Essentials Honors and Reg.. 

 

I'm a fan of the Washington Commanders and TarHeel basketball (since knee high),and I Love Fenway Park...Go Red Sox!
