Ms. Venice Price

My name is Venice Price. I am your child's 5th grade homeroom and science teacher. As I embark on my 31st year of teaching, I am looking forward to working with you and your child. I have taught in the District of Columbia (DC) and in the state of Maryland. This is my 21st year teaching in North Carolina, the state that I was reared and love. I've been at Jessie Mae for a lot of years. (Lol). I absolutely love teaching and can't wait to get this school year started. 

I received my Bachelors of Science Degree from Elizabeth City State University and my Masters in Administration from Grand Canyon University. My education and experience helped me to build a foundation for becoming the best educator that I can be for your child. 

I have one beautiful daughter, Jamie, and 2 little shih tzu puppies, Charlie and MJ.

When I am not in the classroom, I love traveling, reading, walking, eating cheezits and spending time with my awesome family.
