Welcome to my homepage.  My name is Laura Patten and I have been teaching since 1999.  I have been teaching here at Belville Elementary School since 2007.  I have my bachelor's degree in sociology from Manhattan College and my master's degree in readng from Fordham University.  Most of my teaching experience has been in second grade at Belville.  I am definetly passionate about teaching this grade level.  In addition to being a teacher, I am a mother of two children.  My son is a freshman at North Brunswick High school.  He runs track and is participating in JOTC.  My daughter is in first grade at Belville.  She is on a gymnastics team.
