Homework in 3rd Grade at Lincoln

Homework in 3rd grade is sent home on a weekly schedule. Each week, students will complete math practice, vocabulary activities, and a nightly reading requirement. Students will have vocabulary words each week, math review problems, and should read for at least 20 minutes each night. All homework will be due on Friday.

Students should be able to complete all homework on their own. Homework will be sent home on Monday in their binder, please check nightly for any important updates. Students will be responsible for recording their homework in their planners, so please check these also.  Students should bring their binders to and from school each day. If your student is having issues completing their homework, please talk to their teachers. We have a great deal of resources to help them.

Completing homework is very important for the success of your student.

Third grade homework reinforces concepts taught in class and prepares students for potential questions they may see on End of Grade tests.
