Visual Arts

The Visual Arts Department at SBHS is a student-directed program grounded in the fundamental belief that the student is the artist and the art room is their studio. Students enrolled in the Visual arts classes learn how to seek inspiration, design their ideas, create their design, and reflect on their completed process. We offer Beginning, Intermediate, Proficient, Advanced and AP studio 2d and 3d art and Ceramics/Sculpture classes. We have worked hard to create a scaffolded program that has a smooth transition from one level to the next. 

I love teaching art at South Brunswick High School. I teach Beginning Visual Art and Ceramics/Sculpture. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and have taught K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 art. High school art is my absolute favorite.
