LTC (R) Glenn Baker is a native of Nebraska. Upon graduating from high school in Bellevue NE in 1983, he joined the ROTC program at the University of Nebraska and Omaha, where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Transportation Corps. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2017. LTC Baker is a veteran of Afghanistan. His awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (4th award), Army Commendation Medal (7th award), and Army Achievement Medal (2nd award).
LTC Baker earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in ancient history from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master’s Degree in Transportation Management from American Military University. He has been married to the former Gail Hyden of Monroe, MI for over 21 years and has 4 children.
