Hello! I am excited about being part of the First grade Belville Shark team again this year and most of all, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher! It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and adventure!

A little about me...I was born in NC and from a small town not far away from Leland but we relocated to the area in 2021 with my sweet husband and our 5 kiddos. Our oldest son will be a junior in college and the youngest will be a brand new Belville shark Kindergartener this year! We love having family time and spend a lot of time camping, kayaking, volunteering, thrift hunting and at church/church events.

I attended UNC Wilmington and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education and later received a Master's degree in K-12 Special Education. I have taught many grade levels and subjects from Pre-K to high school, but 1st grade has my heart! First grade is a very special year full of growth and exploration. I look forward to spending this time getting to know each and every one of you and working together to make this the most successful year possible!
