Welcome to the Firebird Family! 

 My name is Shelby Leonard and at the Early College, I have the pleasure of teaching freshmen and sophomore English: College English Prep, English I, English II, English III, and Seminar. I am also a co-teacher for our wonderful Yearbook Club. 

All of the English courses at the Early College are honors level and taught in one semester. Freshmen start College English Prep in the fall to prepare them for honors-level accelerated English courses and end with English I in the spring. Sophomore students start with English III in the fall to improve test scores for English II in the spring semester. Afterward, juniors take college-level English courses before ending with English IV their graduation year.
